How to reset passkey on android or ios devices?

Resetting a passkey on Android or iOS devices can vary slightly depending on the device model and operating system version. Here's a general guide for both:

Android:

  1. Forgot Pattern or Passcode: After several incorrect attempts, Android devices usually prompt you to enter your Google account credentials associated with the device to unlock it. If you remember your Google account details, this is the easiest way to regain access.

  2. Using Find My Device (Android Device Manager): If your device is connected to the internet and you've previously enabled Find My Device, you can use this service to remotely lock your device with a new passcode. Visit the Find My Device website (https://www.google.com/android/find) and follow the instructions.

  3. Factory Reset: This is the last resort. Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase all data on your device. To perform a factory reset, power off your device, then simultaneously hold down the Volume Down and Power buttons until the recovery menu appears. Use the volume keys to navigate to the "Factory Reset" option and confirm your selection.

iOS (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Forgot Passcode: If you have synced your device with iTunes or iCloud and have a backup, you can restore your device to remove the passcode. Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes. Follow the instructions to restore your device from a backup.

  2. Using iCloud: If you've enabled Find My iPhone/iPad and have access to iCloud, you can remotely erase your device and set it up again. Go to iCloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select "Find iPhone" or "Find iPad." Choose your device from the list and select "Erase iPhone" or "Erase iPad."

  3. Recovery Mode: If you haven't synced your device with iTunes or set up Find My iPhone/iPad, you can use recovery mode to erase your device and reset the passcode. Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes. Force restart your device by following the instructions for your device model (usually involves holding down specific buttons). When you see the option to restore or update, choose "Restore."

Remember, these methods will erase your device's data, so make sure you have a backup if possible.

Horrible flaw in Android, hundreds of millions of users at risk

critical security vulnerability in Android called "Dirty Stream" that could allow malicious apps to hijack legitimate apps and gain control over them. The key details are:

  • The vulnerability targets the Content Provider system, a common feature in many Android apps that manages access to data shared between apps. Hackers can exploit a loophole in this system to bypass security measures.
  • By creating “custom intents” (messaging objects that facilitate communication between apps), malicious apps can send manipulated files to other apps, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution and theft of user data and accounts.
  • Microsoft's investigation found this vulnerability is not isolated, and they identified several popular Android apps with over 4 billion total installations that are impacted by the flaw.
  • To protect against this threat, users should avoid sideloading apps and instead only download from official app stores like Google Play. Enabling Google Play Protect and using a reliable antivirus app can also help.
In summary, this is a serious Android security flaw that potentially impacts hundreds of millions of users globally. Prompt action by users and app developers to address the "Dirty Stream" vulnerability is crucial to safeguard Android devices and user data.

How to convert English PDF to Bangla

To convert an English PDF to Bangla (Bengali), you can use various methods and tools, depending on your preferences and requirements. Here are a few options:

  1. Online PDF to Bangla Converter: There are several online tools available that allow you to upload an English PDF file and convert it to Bangla. These tools typically use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to detect and convert text from images within the PDF. Some popular online converters include:

    • OnlineOCR.net
    • iLovePDF
    • Smallpdf
    • PDF2Go

Simply upload your English PDF file to one of these platforms, select the language as Bangla, and initiate the conversion process. Once the conversion is complete, you can download the Bangla version of your PDF.

  2. Desktop OCR Software: If you prefer offline solutions or need to convert PDFs regularly, you can use OCR software installed on your computer. Programs like Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or Tesseract OCR (which is open-source) can perform OCR on PDF files and convert English text to Bangla. These tools offer more advanced features and customization options compared to online converters.

  3. Google Translate: Google Translate offers OCR functionality through its mobile app. You can use your smartphone's camera to capture the text from the PDF and translate it into Bangla. While this method may not provide the most accurate results compared to dedicated OCR software, it can be useful for quick translations on the go.

  4. Professional Translation Services: If accuracy and quality are crucial, especially for important documents or professional content, consider hiring a professional translation service or freelancer proficient in both English and Bangla. They can manually translate the content from the English PDF to Bangla, ensuring accuracy and coherence.

Before proceeding with any conversion method, ensure that you have the necessary permissions to translate and distribute the content of the PDF, especially if it's copyrighted material. Additionally, keep in mind that automated translation tools may not always provide perfect translations, so it's a good idea to review and edit the converted text for accuracy and clarity, especially for important documents.

5 benefits of turning on airplane mode

Turning on airplane mode on your device can offer several benefits, even beyond its intended use during air travel. Here are five benefits:

  1. Battery Conservation: Airplane mode disables wireless connections such as cellular data, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, which can significantly reduce battery consumption. This is particularly useful when you're in an area with weak cellular signals or when you need to conserve battery life.

  2. Reduced Disturbances: Enabling airplane mode can help you avoid interruptions from incoming calls, messages, and notifications. This can be beneficial when you need to focus on work, study, or simply want uninterrupted personal time.

  3. Enhanced Privacy: By disabling wireless connections, you can prevent your device from sending or receiving data, reducing the risk of unauthorized access or tracking. This can enhance your privacy and security, especially in public or unfamiliar environments.

  4. Faster Charging: When your device is in airplane mode, it consumes less power, allowing it to charge more quickly. This can be convenient when you need to top up your battery in a hurry or when you're using a low-power charging source.

  5. Reduced Electromagnetic Radiation: Airplane mode turns off radio frequency transmissions from your device, which can lower your exposure to electromagnetic radiation. While the health effects of such radiation are still debated, some people prefer to minimize their exposure as a precaution.

These benefits make airplane mode a useful feature for various situations, not just during air travel. Whether you're looking to conserve battery life, minimize distractions, or enhance privacy, airplane mode can be a handy tool to have at your disposal.

Bajaj bike will run without oil!

Bajaj is gearing up to launch its first CNG motorcycle soon. Drivers will not have to worry about fuel consumption when the bike is in the market. In the entry-level commuter bike segment, Bajaj currently sells the Platina and the City Motor.

Of these, the Platina offers the highest mileage, up to 70 kmpl as per ARAI.

The mileage of the upcoming CNG bike is expected to be higher. It might be the highest mileage bike in its category. Bajaj is likely to use the existing 110cc engine in its new CNG bikes, which come in the Platina 110cc and CT 110X. In petrol, this engine produces 8.6 PS of power and 9.81 Nm of torque.

The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Bajaj CNG bike is powered by a 125cc engine, which is available in the CT125X model.

In fact, CNG gives less power than petrol. A bigger engine (125 cc) is being considered for performance under such circumstances.

Regardless of the engine offered, some changes are possible. Bi-Fuel Setup – Bajaj's upcoming CNG bike is expected to have a bi-fuel setup.

A switch can be provided for this, with the help of which CNG can be switched from petrol and petrol to CNG.

The CNG tank will be under the seat and the petrol tank will be where it can be found. The motorcycle may be affordable to run, but according to media reports, it may cost more than the current Platina 110cc.

How to send pictures-video-documents without internet from WhatsApp

Sending pictures, videos, or documents via WhatsApp typically requires an active internet connection. However, if you're in a situation where you want to send files without using cellular data or Wi-Fi, you might be able to use alternative methods such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Bluetooth: Both the sender and the recipient need to have Bluetooth enabled on their devices. Here's how you can send files using Bluetooth:

    • Open WhatsApp and go to the chat with the person you want to send the file to.
    • Tap on the attachment icon (paperclip icon) and select "Document," "Gallery," or "Video," depending on the type of file you want to send.
    • Choose the file you want to send from your device's storage.
    • Instead of choosing a WhatsApp contact, select the option to share via Bluetooth.
    • Choose the recipient's device from the list of available Bluetooth devices and send the file.
  2. Wi-Fi Direct: Wi-Fi Direct allows two devices to connect to each other directly without the need for a Wi-Fi network or internet connection. Here's how you can send files using Wi-Fi Direct:

    • Make sure both the sender's and the recipient's devices have Wi-Fi Direct capabilities.
    • On the sender's device, open WhatsApp and go to the chat with the person you want to send the file to.
    • Tap on the attachment icon (paperclip icon) and select "Document," "Gallery," or "Video."
    • Choose the file you want to send from your device's storage.
    • Instead of selecting a WhatsApp contact, choose the option to share via Wi-Fi Direct.
    • The recipient's device should appear in the list of available Wi-Fi Direct devices. Select it and send the file.

Keep in mind that both methods require that the sender and the recipient are in close proximity to each other, as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct have limited ranges. Additionally, the recipient's device must also support these technologies for the file transfer to be successful.
