How to use Google Docs without internet ?

You can use Google Docs without an internet connection by enabling offline mode. Here's how to set it up:

  1. Enable Offline Mode:

    • Open Google Chrome browser on your computer.
    • Make sure you're signed in to your Google account.
    • Go to the Google Docs website (docs.google.com).
    • In the top-right corner, click on the "Settings" menu (three vertical dots) and select "Settings."
    • In the Settings menu, toggle the switch next to "Offline" to enable offline mode.
    • Follow the prompts to allow Google Docs to store offline data on your computer.
  2. Access Documents Offline:

    • Once offline mode is enabled, you can access your Google Docs documents without an internet connection.
    • Open the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
    • Go to docs.google.com.
    • You should see a list of your documents. Any document with a gray checkmark icon next to it is available for offline access.
    • Click on a document to open and edit it as you normally would, even without an internet connection.
    • Your changes will be saved locally on your computer and automatically synced with your Google account once you're back online.
  3. Sync Changes When Online:

    • When you have an internet connection again, Google Docs will automatically sync any changes you made while offline with your Google account.
    • Open Google Chrome and go to docs.google.com.
    • Any changes made offline will be synced to your Google account, and any changes made to your documents online will be synced to your offline copies.

By enabling offline mode in Google Docs, you can continue working on your documents even when you're not connected to the internet. Just remember that offline mode only allows you to access and edit existing documents; you won't be able to create new documents or access advanced features without an internet connection.
